Poland was part of the allies (not to mention that it has been left out by them, thats the different story), yes poland was conquered by 3rd reich, then backstabbed by russians on 17.09. But overall germany lost the war, poland gained independence back in 1989, so this is inaproppriate example. Especially the part about saying that you`re german. You`re german in WW2? So you said yourself, that you`re gonna lose sooner or later.

Again, I won't quote because it would be fucking long but I was specifically referring to the invasion of Poland. Not world war 2, not the millenium, not Micheal Jackson's funeral but the invasion of Poland and Poland didn't do too good in that. If I had said (and I'll use my previous example for some premeditated win) "I'm Germany and you're the Allies" then yes I could understand people taking the impression I was referring to the second world war. From a purely German vs Polish standpoint the Germans have come out on top every time the Polish haven't had help. Good enough for me.

If you really knew history and politics then you'd understand that Germany had a PRETTY FUCKING GOOD RUN under Hitler's leadership (holocaust aside) up until the eventual loss.
I'm in no way a Hitler supporter but the guy was a pretty good leader politically and economically, got shit done.
On a purely arrogant and ignorant note, being English I wouldn't consider Poland as part of the allies, part of the allies that had serious involvement in winning the war anyway.

You`re british yes? Read something about what has UK/france have done about Hitler growing in strenght and requesting more land from poland (gdańsk) or czech republic. Nothing. If UK/france would react as they promised in pacts(why hitler was allowed to gather army, when the Treaty of Versailles didn`t allow him to?), things might have gone totally different. Only country that have proven to be really an ally of poland in 1939 was romania that helped polish intelligence to run away with the documents and money.
