Im not ethnicist (or w/e its called) but when conversations goes on like "how much greece sucks" i gotta defend my country.
And not its not about history, who gives a shit anyway in 2010 (not like i dont like our history, actually im proud of it to be honest)
Generally as a country (apart from government the last 8 years) is just great.
You cannot compare greece in technology with america or germany for example, but thats not the main point, i know ZILLION of foreigners that would like to live in greece for ever, or ppl that visited greece and they were hell impressed.
I hate ppl that know crap about greece, the last 4 years everyone liked greece and this year every CLUELESS KID speaks about "Greek economic problem"(for example). and when im saying clueless i know what im talking. Go watch TV more, theres the only place you'll never get prooves for any fact. Greeks are like 20% more poor cuz of the new situation that the goverment did, and yea thats our fault, 20% is nothing (compared that even with that 20% in salaries i am still getting 850+ euros per month than other countries which pl at my age getting 400-500 euros)
Yes, it is a fact greece has a small (yes small) economic problem, as like 5 more countries of europe but in TV all you hear is greece, why noone mentioned portuagal for example?
srsly i dunno how to make it clear, 70% of ppl here knows nothing for greece and the only thing they heard about is the "economical crisis issue" saying "poor ppl, 3rd world country"
the only places that i think would nice to meet is
America but not in the cities
greece
Italy
and germany.
