LF Confirmation? So ridiculous! I was really hoping this server would become good since the files are PERFECT (Though I'd prefer x15 rate, 30 is a bit high) but saying a server 'stats' on Sept 01 but not wiping the server? Yeah, that makes no sense. That means the server 'came out' whenever it first opening and on Sept 1st there is supposed to be a nice English-Patch update. haha

And hopefully I'm wrong even if it does make me a fail.

yes u failed with this gm buffer of yours since it lasts u only till 40. second thing:

face it, noone after 5 years of playing lineage2 wants to grind again just to get high enough lvl to be able to taste end game pvp, l2 is old game that many ppl lost interest in, thats why bot is useful tool, u can get to end game stage, while working, hanging out with friends etc. dont like it? just go and play on some "grind for fun server" with anti bot system and piss poor server files with thousands of bugs.

also, there wont be wipe at least thats what we know so far.

Well, grinding is fun when you got high enough rates. When you don't need to worry for your lost XP.
And often I get into PVP with random peaple while grinding

looks like u have misunderstand my point. l2 is old, everyone know what he has to do to be on the top, there is nothing new, u just know that u need high lvl and items ( wont mention skill factor or good clan ). l2 lacks interest factor atm, ppl who are still playing it are playing mostly for the fun of mass pvps, sieges, epic battles and olympiad and not to run around and kill mobs. running around and killing mobs was fun till u played long enough to know what u have to do from the start: where to exp, what mobs to kill, what mobs to spoil etc. when u start playing u already have a plan to achieve high lvl, great gear and take pleasure from the pvps/oly fights/sieges afterwards.

The ironic thing is most of the time they don't go afk while botting.. They sit around staring at their computers, on vent, waiting to camp raid bosses or get the call to pvp.

And if people just want to bot now how does Celes, a 7x server with no dual box allowed, able to have 3k+ people on after months of operation? Some people do like to play the game still, including myself. And considering this is a Gracia Final server exp even goes more ridiculously fast than it would if was only 30x. If you can't handle this 'grind' then something is wrong with you.

And yeah, I enjoy the PvE aspect as well. Its interesting grouping with other people that play, encountering pvp situations where you have to fight over exp spots with this make shift party you put together, not knowing if they're gonna suck, whatever. Its interesting when you're playing the game and a gank party rolls up on you.

I played Lionna when it was bot-tastic and here is how the 'oh yeah bot to get to pvp content' went. Yeah, you still pvpd for epics and castles, but if you tried to gank an exp party theyd log out or just fucking fail. I'd be on a healer and our bd/sws/wc would be boxed on walker and our archers would be AFK Nostromo or walker.

Pvp rolls up and we just have to fucking PR, force log, or all die.. Because everyone was afk. How exciting!

My summary is this: You're not going to get the population you want if you allow botting. And a grind on 30x content is nothing. You're pretty much instantly up to S grade content and from there people can experiance all the new hellbound sh it that has been glitched on every other server. You're not going to have real people play support classes cause everyone is going to bot their own 9 man train without real people behind their characters. Goodluck finding people to actually play those chars in siege.

just get a fcking banhammer that will be online and watch ppl... they are supervising their bots to prevent pking... like gust4v today on bs. was hitting him forl like 30 sec (off and on to see if he flags) and nothing happend but dances and songs were going on. later he flagged with panther and just stand there, and some1 killed me from behind. when i came back no more gust4v on bs but bots were still buffing and dancing standing in 1 place until i made some karma on them

Once again i will add even with x30 rate when you reach lvl 80+ exp goes per mob 0.01 so chill?Or you want ppl to grind months for sh1t and then be where they been zilion times and that is the top lvl top gear and then after 6 months lets say imba farming etc to get S80 and S84 on x15, w/e totally irelevant want a low rate? Sure you got x1,x3 right under this same RPG-CLUB server they stated is x30 and no wipe so gtfo with complains?
About bots i do agree there should be some anti bot system or few active gms and np.

As for boting i sure do agree with you but whole this topic have wrong name, cose server wont get wiped and i wont even suggest it. They said it that there wont be wipe and there is announce every time you go in game so ppl played for real no mater the fact is beta and not final decisions about GM NPC or buffs or what will be in shops that why it was called beta and from 1 st september we will continue with server how it is game but they will implant or wont implant new NPCS but w/e it happends it will be official and they will start to have an open Vote and chance to advertise the server for more ppl.

The initial opening of the server was not advertised at all and a lot of people dont even consider coming to a new server after its already been up for a month (At least as far as I've seen) Advertising and getting the word out, then opening the server for REAL officially this time would probably cause the population to go up.

They said no WIPE got it?The 750+ ppl (450 online in same time) would just leave and their friends that will come here wouldn't even think on coming here. To wipe now would give just bad reputation to server(under term that GM staff not sure or valid in what they doing, so don't try to make it look that way), sry dude but you wont RUIN this server just cose you want fresh start. I am 100% sure you heard about RPG-Club earlier and you knew about this server, but you were on some vacation i mean is summer still and you hoped that it will be exactly how you feel it, well sry but you are not the only person on the whole world. You are not a judge that will change things how you feel like it, there wont be wipe and gms announced it and repeated it also few times the talk was just about adding some new npcs and balancing spoil/drop rate/amount when it goes live, but not about wipe.

Everyone knew about server, and is Gracia and is x30 is not c4 where you join and if clan halls are taken you can't do sh1t. There are fortresses and much more, now for noblesse you don't even need to subclass. And is not 250 ppl boxed and there is Anti Bot system that gonna be added soon, every server have a hard start so it wont be any different with this one. You can either join already or wait for 1 st September but you must STOP CRYING ABOUT IT!

Whos crying? I am just telling my opinion about the server. Everyone knew about the server? Thats totaly bullsh**, there is 0 advertisement, maybe russian people from rpg-club knew, but this is EN (international) server.

By the way, I am not against not-wiping the server, actually I dont care. I am just telling whats better for the server in my opinion. We need to attract people, maybe some advertisement would help.

Wipe is necessary for this server. At least for lower rates like 30x. Just think about it, some players who started playing a earlier already have big advantage against new players - lvl, items, etc. That means that some(I would say a lot) players won't start playing here because of that. And that's not all.
Clan Halls are taken by some dead clans and not used. Lot of ppl already botted a long they that won't be easy for normal players to catch them.
Wipe would fix these problems and attract lot of new players.

Advertisement is quite necessary too. You may think that it's nonsense, but believe me it does lot of job attracting new players. I played in one server where was about 1000-2000 players, after it started active Advertisementing and wiped server it grew to 8000-10000.

Wouldn't you want more people in this server? Where's the fun if there are 500 players and half of them are boxes?

This server is bomb, it just needs for someone to activate it! And the triggers are wipe and Advertising.
